We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commis to join our team. As a Commis, you will play a crucial role in assisting our kitchen staff in food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. – Assist in food production tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and cooking ingredients
– Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
– Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
– Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
– Support the chef and senior kitchen staff in various tasks as needed

– Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
– Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
– Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
– Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented setting
– Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
– Basic leadership skills to assist in team management
